Liebherr has returned to the 218-t (240-short ton) class with the T 264. Based on the successfully-engineered T 262 and T 282 series haul trucks, the T 264 is sized to match ultra-class mining excavators as well as electric shovels and wheel loaders. The T 264 offers the highest horsepower engine option (up to 2,013 kW / 2,700 HP) in its size class in order to improve cycle times and boost productivity. Gains in efficiency and productivity are achieved by Liebherr’s Litronic Plus AC drive system. This proven drive system allows for efficient loading of the engine, which is critical to minimizing fuel consumption and maximizing performance. In addition, this vertically-integrated solution allows for optimal distribution of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic power to other key areas of the truck.
