Located at Yulin City, the south-eastern part of Guangxi China, Guangxi Yuchai Heavy Industry Company Limited(short for YUCHAI), as one of the main subsidiaries of Yuchai Machinery Group Company Limited, is a Sino-foreign joint venture and a model enterprise of new high technology and a reputed enterprise and demonstration of HI-TECH and industrial information project in Guangxi. The enterprise conception of "green development with harmoniousness and common prosperity” has been adhered to in the company. After more than ten years' efforts, Guangxi Yuchai Heavy Industry Company Limited has total asset of RMB 1.56 billion, over 1000 staffs, including over 200 professional technicians. The factory covers an area of 427,000 square meters. With the advanced equipment and an annual production capacity of 10 thousand units, the company becomes the largest mini engineering machinery production and export base in China.

Hydraulic excavators are the leading products in Guangxi Yuchai Heavy Industry Company Limited. In 1989, YUCHAI launched the first international advanced mini hydraulic excavator, it supplied the gap in the field in China. In the same year, YUCHAI had set up a mini engineering machinery production base and became the first manufacturer of mini hydraulic excavator in China. YUCHAI produced and exported 167 sets of mini excavator (WY. 13) and won high reputation in the Cairo International Fair and the New Zealand International Fair in 1990. In 1991, the mini excavators were exported to Germany for the first time. In 1999, Guangxi Yuchai Heavy Industry Company Limited Was established after the asset reorganization. Guangxi Yuchai Heavy Industry Company Limited was set up in 2003 and Yulin base YUCHAI was set up in 2004, which is another milestone in the company's internationalization. On July of 2006, Yuchai accomplished the cooperation with H & D Asia Pacific and introduced funds of 355 million Yuan successfully. This has become a new departure of Yuchai’s high speed development.

In 2007, the second phase project of mini excavator has been launched and the area covers 125 acres. Yuchai also plan to start working on medium size excavator project and the area covers 300 acres. The new blanking workshop, trial-manufacturing workshop and testing workshop have been built this year.

The factory is integrated with manufacture, assembly, test, research and training, which becomes the key support for YUCHAI’s internationalization.

To improve products quality, the major manufacturing equipments are introduced from Germany and Japan; CAD, CAPP, CAE, PDM technologies are adopted widely in designing and producing process; also, we use the SAP for sales, production, purchasing and finance .The leading product is excavator series, there are more than 60 multifunctional hydraulic excavators in 18series, weight range from 0.8 ton-25.5 ton such as YC08-8, YC15-8, YC18-8, YC25-2, YC35-8, YC45-6, YC55-8, YC85-8, YC135-8, YC230LC-8 and YC255LC-8 and Zero-Tail-Swing excavator model YC18SR, YC25SR, YC35SR, YC55SR, YC75SR, and so forth.
